Mucchore | Mullu Murukku | 180gms
The name ‘mucchore’ translates to deep-fried dough. Although it resembles the Chakkli, it is quite different in its preparation and taste. Made with Moong dal and Rice flour, Mucchore simply melts in your mouth. In Tamil, mucchore is also called ‘Mullu Murukku’. This is because of the jagged, thorn-like surface of the snack which resembles thorns or ‘Mullu’.
In South Indian homes, the air is filled with the buttery aroma of Mucchore during Janmashtami. It is also very light on the stomach, making it a great tea-time snack for the entire family to enjoy.
The products reached me almost 2 weeks after despatch and hence the mysorepak was all broken and soggy. Out of the two murukku orders I had made, one was all broken. The other variety thenguzhal murukku...I didnt like the texture, since it was very thick. The parcel looked dented due to over stay with the courier office and hence the products were not fresh. Overall I am unhappy.
Good quality snacks without palm oil.
